Description
Soft and fluffy grain-free, specific carbohydrate diet (SCD) friendly waffles filled with melted goat cheese! Grain-free, gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, SCD, high protein.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 1 tbsp. coconut flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp. crumbled goat cheese
Instructions
- Preheat a waffle iron.
- In a bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir well.
- Add in the egg, almond milk, vanilla, and ACV. Stir again until a smooth waffle batter forms.
- Fold in the crumbled goat cheese so that its well-distributed throughout the batter.
- Lightly grease the waffle iron and pour the batter on to the iron. Close it and cook until the indicator light turns on, about 5 minutes.
