Description

A moist & fluffy microwave cake with a rich chocolate flavor. Grain-free, refined-sugar-free, gluten-free, and delicious!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen powder
  • 3 tbsp. almond flour
  • 1 tbsp. coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 tbsp. liquid egg whites (about 1 egg white)
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. mini dark chocolate chips
  • a pinch of sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium/large mug, combine the collagen, almond flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and half of the mini dark chocolate chips. Stir well. 
  2. Add the egg whites, almond milk, vanilla, and apple cider vinegar. Stir well until a cohesive batter forms. 
  3. Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips & sea salt over the batter in the mug. 
  4. Microwave on high for 1 minute & 15 seconds. 

Notes

Microwave times may vary, cook until the batter is “set”.
